Kido Guidelines:

Every ten levels you are able to perform the next set of kido. Ex. Level ten: can perform up to level 19 kidou spells. Level thirty: can perform up to level thirty nine kidou spells. Unless you've achieved the necessary mastery perk, your character must state the necessary incantation, if there is one.

Mastery Perks:

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 30 you are able to perform kido while only calling out the number and name of the spell, but only for Kido at level 29 and below.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 50, you are able to perform Kido while only calling out the number and name of the spell, but only for Kido at level 49 and below.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 70, you are able to perform any Kido while only calling out the number and name of the spell.  You are also able to perform Kido faster than anyone below your skill level.

Upon reaching Kido Intelligence level 90, you are able to perform Kido silently, save for Kido at level 91 and above.  You are  able to perform Kido faster than anyone below your skill level.  In addition, attaining this level of skill in Kido means that your spells are better constructed, and more powerful than others.  You are able to add up to 10 points to the standard cost of any Kido.  The limit for any Kido is 50sp.

Ultimate Mastery Perk:  At Kido Intelligence 100, characters are able to perform any Kido silently, and more quickly than any other rank.  Due to being able to perform kido silently, your character can perform multiple kido in the time other ranks would take to form just one.  In addition, you are able to add up to 20 points to the standard cost of any Kido without exceeding the limit of 50sp.

*Generally,to block an incomming binding spell, or break out of one that has been completed, the target must use twice the amount of SP it took to create the Bakudo to destroy it (if the Bakudo is powered up in some manner there is no SP cost limit, meaning that if a Bakudo costs 75 sp, then a shield ability of a Zanpakuto can use however much SP is necessary to overcome the Bakudo).
*If the target uses a Kido based defense to block a Bakudo (one that uses the Kido Intelligence or equivalent stat), such as one of the barrier Kido, the extra cost to block the Kido is not applied as Kido counters Kido best. Zanpakuto skills, Resurreccion defenses, and abilities such as Spirit Flash must still pay twice the cost of the spell to block them.
*While the opponent is breaking out of a Bakudo, the user of the Bakudo has enough time to layer another binding spell on top of the one being broken out of, which will interrupt the opponents ability to break the first Bakudo and force them to break both at the same time their next turn.
*The target cannot physically dodge an attack chained to a binding spell even after breaking the spell and must instead block physically or use an ability to do so spiritually.
*Derived stats must be used to break through defensive Bakudo such as a barrier. The offensive stat must be within 9 points of the users defensive stat and must use at least as much SP as it took to form the barrier.
*A Bakudo can be interrupted if the user is attacked physically before they can finish casting the spell, but only if Shunpo or a fast ranged attack is used to cause the user to defend instead of cast the spell.
*Spells that restrict the targets movement that are level 60 and above can only be used once each on the same opponent.

Bakudo:

Name: Bakudo Number 1: Sai (Restrain)
Type: Bakudo
Description: Locks the target's arms stiffly behind their back, rendering them incapable of using them.  To break free of the Kido, a Power stat of 20 is required.  The spell is performed at very close range.  It can be performed on multiple targets at once, and even against powerful opponents, it can be used to create an opening, or to escape a dangerous situation, as it takes a moment to break out of the Kido.  Will not work on those with a Kido Intelligence stat of at least 50.  Can be used to detain extremely weak foes.

Incantation: None
Level: 1
Cost: 3sp
Words to Train: 200

Name: Bakudo Number 4: Hanaiwa (Crawling Rope)

However, it would take a moment to get free of the rope and regain movement.  It is in this window that the user usually capitalizes upon, to deliver a devastating blow to the opponent.

Words to Train: 600
